Since I began the process of applying to veterinary school, I've wanted to start a blog chronicling my journey towards my degree in veterinary medicine. It was a pain in the ass keeping a livejournal during my undergraduate career, but the real enjoyment came when looking back over the entries years later
To start this one, I had to wait a more few years.
I graduated with a BS in Biology in 2006. Since then, I've taken 40+ graduate-level science credits and spent many hours researching insects. I volunteered at a historical farm (in period clothing) , and amassed countless hours working at a small animal hospital.
I applied to several schools, and was interviewed and wait-listed at Iowa State University. After months of waiting, I was finally accepted at around 9:30 this morning. As a part of the Class of 2013, this blog will follow my relocation from New York to Ames along with the ups and downs that follow over the next four years.
